Plymouth Safe Routes to School Public Notice

The Village of Plymouth is proposing to install new sidewalk, ADA compliant curb ramps, pedestrian crosswalks, rectangular rapid flashing beacons (RRFB’s) and drive aprons along the west side of SR 603 (Trux Street).  The 2,700 feet of new sidewalk will connect the Plymouth-Shiloh Elementary School to the existing sidewalk at Mill Street.

Small strips of additional right of way will be required for the work to be completed. Construction is anticipated to begin in the Spring of 2027.

The environmental review, consultation, and other actions required by applicable Federal environmental laws for this project are being, or have been carried out by ODOT pursuant to 23 U.S.C. 327 and a Memorandum of understanding dated December 11, 2015, and executed by FHWA and ODOT.
